The I in the Icing of Me and Myself

As I surrender
into the was'es of is'es
I find myself falling
out of the me
an into the am
that should have been
the I
in the Icing
of me
on the cake
of eating and having
it all
in the future
of I I I's
instead Im still here
wandering in a maze
of the was'es and is'es
of the me am's and I's
Oh what does it take
to find
the true self of
Me Myself and I

  1. True, this is the eternal quest for all those who seek. Very nicely expressed in interesting wordplay. Kudos!!!

  3. If I may have a go at answering your question. To find your true self, simply remove your three ego's of "me, myself and I" Forget "was" (the past) "will be" (the future) forget "am" as it is a part of I. Then you can answer all questions eg What are you? (A part of you.) When are you? (Now.) Why are you? (Fate./Destiny.) Where are you? (Here.)and How are you? (Happy.) Love your words. G xo

  4. Interesting wordplay here! It does look like you had fun, and that's definitely one of the reasons for writing poetry.
